My generation is so broken. I'm 25 and I'm not married. I have no marriage plans in the works. Sometimes I find myself wondering if I've met my wife. Do I know her? I wonder if she is stressing out because she doesn't think I exist. I wonder if she has the same questions that I have. And I wonder if someone is hurting her. I am trapped in a generation where it's popular to use and quickly discard women. Caring about them? Not so much. Sometimes I find myself subscribing to the same thought process. It only changes when I remember that one of these women is my wife. I think. It's confusing. But, I really hope nobody is hurting her. And I hope she knows that I will fix it. And I will fix her. And I will love her. And there is someone that thinks the way she does. And that she isn't alone. And that there are men who want more than her body. What's more? I also wonder if I do know her. Maybe I know her well....maybe I'm the one hurting her. Because I don't pay attention to her. And I'm wrapped up in everything that I think will make me happy that in all honesty probably won't. It's late and I don't care about punctuation. Sometimes my thoughts just get out...however they want. Please don't hurt my wife...that goes for me too....I love her.
Terribly sad news as german aircraft comes down with no survivors of the 148 passengers expected.
Ok, so we'll do this again next week with the players on teams eliminated from the sweet 16 and elite 8. Do you think a team composed of the best players eliminated in the NCAA tournament's first weekend could beat the number 1 overall seeded wildcats? At first it seemed simple enough to just go through and pick the 10 best players. However, due to the matchup problems that Kentucky's length presents some players had to be added to the team and others left off. Myles Turner for example didn't post eye popping numbers this year but his length and athleticism make him a necessity on a team that needs to matchup with the cats. Here are the teams:
Some times people do things so embarrassing, ridiculous, shameful, horrible, and despicable that they simply deserve for the world to know. Here is my contribution. Darren Sharper IS A SERIAL RAPIST! If you want to read more about it feel free to click the USA Today link below...did I mention that Darren Sharper is a rapist?
Ok,so. A US Weekly poll (Yes there is VERY likely some selection bias involved) determined that around 60% of people felt that the 2015 SI cover was porn! It's an interesting debate. Is it porn? Lets take a look at Merriam Webster's definition of pornography. It defines porn as movies, pictures, magazines, etc., that show or describe naked people or sex in a very open and direct way in order to cause sexual excitement. So what does all of that actually mean? The key seems to be in the last 6 words of the definition. Those words suggest that to be pornography something must intend to cause sexual excitement. Is that the intent of the SI swimsuit issue? Well I'm not sure. But, to find out I am going to have to interview EVERY one of the models in person and get to the bottom of this thing! And I will do so all in the name of knowledge and information ;)!
Ok ok so in truth it can become a pretty cloudy line. Personally, I don't view it as porn but I can understand where more socially conservative folks would...I think. However, the whole what if kids see it argument doesn't hold much water. Especially since I see worse things on TV, Internet and in the checkout line of Wal-Mart everyday. What do you think? Is it porn? I'm going to scroll back up and investigate further to be sure.

Does genius happen on purpose? Initially, it seems like a sort of silly question. However, its application across entertainment, technology and academia poses an interesting debate. Think about it for a second. Can one's goal be to become a musical or technological genius? Or is this something that must happen by accident when one has skills that cannot be taught. Can one set out to create something innovative or creative. Or must it happen in an attempt to improve the world or pursue a passion where one produces a result that is...well...genius. It's an interesting concept. Particularly, because in today's culture many musicians seek to be revered as 'genius' or creative rather than seeking to be who they are and allowing the potential result to be creative or genius....confused? Ok, maybe this it too much. Something to think about though.
Alright. This has nothing to do with any of the blog contributors having a crush a Jhene'. It also has nothing to do with us finding a reason to post a picture from her GQ shoot :). It's been a minute since we've heard new music from her. What do you think?
